Renovation work we take on
Renovations rarely involve a single trade. A tired room usually needs stripping out, first-fix work, plastering, carpentry, decoration and careful finishing — and a whole-house refurbishment needs those things co-ordinated in the right order. Sharra Construction manages that sequence so you deal with one person rather than juggling separate trades.
- Whole-house refurbishments and staged room-by-room renovations
- Strip-out, plastering, and re-boarding
- Kitchen and bathroom replacement as part of a wider renovation
- Internal alterations, doorways and layout changes
- Carpentry, flooring, painting and final finishing
- Repairs uncovered along the way, dealt with as they appear
How a renovation quote works
Start by sending a short description of the property, your postcode and what you want to change — photos help a lot at this stage. For larger renovations we will arrange a visit to look at the property properly before quoting, so the price reflects what the job genuinely involves. You will get a clear scope of what is included before any work is agreed.
Customers in previous projects have mentioned communication most often — you should always know what is happening in your house, what comes next and who is doing it.
Common questions
Do you handle both small and large renovations?
Yes. The work ranges from renovating a single room through to phased whole-property refurbishments. Smaller jobs are often quoted from photos and a description; larger projects start with a site visit.
Can we live in the house during the work?
Often, yes — many renovations are staged room by room so the house stays usable. It depends on the scope, and it is one of the first things worth discussing, so mention it when you request a quote.
Do you provide free quotes?
Yes. Quotes are free and there is no obligation. Send your postcode, a description of the work and any photos to sharraconstruction1@gmail.com, or use the quote form.
Which areas do you cover?
Oxford and the surrounding Oxfordshire area, including Headington, Cowley, Summertown, Botley, Kidlington, Abingdon, Witney and Bicester.
