Repairs and alterations
Older Oxford homes are full of timber that has moved, worn or rotted over the decades. Repairing and matching existing joinery — rather than ripping it out — is often the better answer, and it is work we enjoy doing properly.
Getting a carpentry quote
Describe the job, send photos and rough measurements if you have them, and include your postcode. Small jobs can often be quoted directly from photos; built-in furniture and larger alterations are measured on site.

Yes — a sticking door or a run of skirting is a perfectly good job to ask about. Small jobs are usually quoted straight from photos.
Can you build storage to fit awkward spaces?
Yes. Alcoves, under-stair spaces and sloping ceilings are exactly where built-in carpentry earns its keep. Measured on site, built to fit.
Do you repair or only replace?
Repair first, where the timber justifies it — matching and splicing in new sections often beats wholesale replacement, especially in older properties.
